Custom stationery means that it is not the same as anyone else’s; it is not ordering a pre-existing wedding invitation online; it IS one of a kind. It’s working with a designer (me!) one-on-one to create something beautiful that shows off your style and uniqueness as a couple.

You should plan to reach out to your stationer at least 9 months prior to your wedding, if not sooner. If you’re planning on sending out save the dates, please plan to inquire at least 12 months prior. A good rule of thumb: inquire as soon as you have a date set!

The entire process for your custom invitations (not including any other desired stationery, like your save the dates or day-of pieces) could take anywhere from 1-3 months to be designed, printed, and assembled.

Save the dates should be sent out 8-12 months prior to your wedding date. This could depend on your wedding’s location, the quantity of out-of-town guests, etc. And finally, wedding invitations should be sent out 8-10 weeks before the wedding, if not sooner.

On top of custom wedding invitations, I offer just about any other stationery and signage desired— save the dates, bridal/baby shower invitations, programs, menus, table numbers, place cards, escort cards, signage (large scale, too!), thank you cards. Don’t be afraid to inquire about anything specific you’d like to add to your day! More than likely, it’s doable! In addition, I also offer small business branding services. At this time, I am not offering any type of wedding rentals. I am always happy to include/help you source items like table number holders, easels, etc. Always inquire with your planner and/or venue about rentals as well - more often than not, they have a variety of offerings!

All wedding clients vary, but most of my wedding clients invest approximately $1,500-$3,000 on average on their wedding stationery (from save the dates, to day-of pieces). When providing your custom quote, I try to be as detailed and transparent as possible to show my clients the breakdown of the costs. I will always provide pricing before beginning any work with my clients and keep you up-to-date throughout the process of any pricing changes.
